Police Assistant

Built during my end-of-studies internship. A PoC aimed at demonstrating the usefulness of AI in the administration of the Belgian federal police.

Police Assistant is my end-of-studies internship project — an on‑premise proof of concept designed to demonstrate the impact of AI on the processes of the Belgian Federal Police. The app combines a modern frontend (Next.js/React + Tailwind) with a Java Spring Boot backend and Python services (FastAPI) for AI capabilities (Llama.cpp + MistralAI) and vector search (ChromaDB). The architecture enables isolated deployment via Docker and adapts to secure environments without internet access.
